Work has begun in BurstHQ’s Studio A on 5 new Northern Room songs, with The Burst Collective’s Daniel Holter serving as producer and longtime band associate Aaron Shannon engineering.

Owen Sartori’s song “The Cube” is the leadoff track on the second installment of the OnMilwaukee.com CD sampler, an annual release featuring artists from the Milwaukee area.

Studio A was electric
Studio A at Burst HQ was alive and energized as drum tracks were recorded by our own Kyle White for Eric Benet’s new project. Our good friend and cohort Wesley McVicker came by and laid down some bad ass grooves under the watchful eyes (ears?) of DeMonte Posey (producer).

Studio A at Burst HQ this month saw Willy Porter mixing his new Christmas song with engineer Vinny Millevolte (a former Burst engineer, as well).
LC from The O.C. heads to L.A. in The HillsMTV has licensed our song “I Wanna Be” for us in the trailer campaign for their hit series The Hills.The show follows LC from the hit show The O.C. as she heads for Los Angeles to make it in the fashion biz.You can check out the trailer at our myspace blog.

7′ Steinway B makes a grand addition to Burst HQ
We recently acquired a legendary Steinway piano, and are eager to use it on our upcoming custom projects and records.
We’re working exclusively with one piano tuner, installing a humidity control system directly in the piano body, and setting up our new baby for a long life making beautiful music… come on by and hear it for yourself!
